Some of  changes that we are enacting at Fielders Campbellfield in light of the unforeseen circumstances the COVID-19 Pandemic has presented to each and every one of us include:

  • We are no longer in a position to accept any unplanned visits to our site, please call us before visiting and observe the 1.5m social distancing rules.
  • Pick ups are to be conducted between 7.30am and 5.00pm daily.
  • We will not be dealing in cash on our sites. EFT transactions are the preferred method of payment if required.
  • When arriving at any site ensure you have your pick up number and ring the buzzer as per normal procedure.
  • Operators will load products for you.
  • Suppliers are to advise of incoming loads and ETA.

The safety of each and every one of you and our employees is critical, this is a very fluid situation and has created needs for us to find different ways of doing business that we had not considered before.

Customer update – Business Continuity

With the evolving situation around the COVID-19 pandemic, Fielders would like to assure our customers, suppliers and the public that we are committed to maintaining business continuity and high-quality service during this unprecedented time.

Fielders are continually monitoring Government guidelines and have already implemented a number of safeguards to ensure the health and wellbeing of our employees, customers, suppliers and contractors.  These include the following:

  • Account Managers are now working from home, with minimal face to face customer visits. Account Managers will maintain regular contact with customers via phone and email ensuring customer requirements are actioned promptly.
  • All employees are practicing social distancing and good hygiene. Fielders are increasing the use of technology to reduce group gatherings in the workplace.
  • Delivery drivers and counter collections will not ask for signed PODs.
  • Drivers will continue to take photos as PODs and ask for names when on site as a record.

Our branches and sites are operational, however, wherever possible, we encourage customers to phone or email to place orders and arrange delivery of their products rather than collect.

Fielders will continue to monitor this situation through the most up-to-date medical advice and reports from authorised sources, and we will be sure to communicate this with you as required.
