Fielders response to (COVID-19)

Fielders SA – COVID-19 update – July 27, 2021

Since the SA Government announced a seven-day lockdown on Tuesday July 20, Fielders ceased manufacturing & retail operations at Mile End, Gawler, Noarlunga & Marion as of close of business that day.

As a result of this government directive, we currently anticipate that our manufacturing operations are likely to recommence on Wednesday 28th July, with deliveries recommencing on the same day.

We are currently working through the backlog of unfulfilled orders received prior to our operations ceasing, in readiness for a recommencement of operations. For the purpose of managing unfulfilled orders:

  • We assume that once we are permitted to recommence operations you will require us to recommence production of any unfulfilled orders. If this is not correct, please contact our Customer Service team or Account Manager to discuss and confirm applicable arrangements including revised delivery details.
  • For long lead time orders, being orders scheduled for delivery after the currently forecast date for recommenced operations, we will postpone production of these orders until we are permitted to recommence operations. Once we can recommence operations, we will do so – however there may be an impact on the scheduled delivery date for these orders. Once a date for recommencing operations is confirmed, we will contact you to confirm applicable arrangements including scheduled delivery dates.
  • Deliveries on Wednesday will be all orders received and produced before lockdown.
  • There will be no time drops on Wednesday or Thursday, all going well normal time drop orders will commence on Friday.

Please note that our normal production schedule & service offer may be affected, and product lead times extended for a period after our operations recommence.

Fielders VIC – COVID-19 update – July 20, 2021

In light of the ongoing lockdown announced by the Victorian Government as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak in Victoria, we are currently operating with revised arrangements on our sites:

  • There will be no order pick-ups at our Campbellfield site.
  • Our public trade/retail sales counter at Campbellfield will be closed.

Clearly the situation concerning this outbreak is evolving rapidly and we will provide further updates via this webpage.

Fielders NSW – COVID-19 update – July 18, 2021 

In light of the announcement yesterday, 17 July 2021, by the NSW Government regarding changes to restrictions across Greater Sydney, including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour, Fielders wishes to provide you with the following update regarding our operations over the next fortnight:

  • Our manufacturing sites in Sydney will be open, operating under strict COVID-safe plans.
  • When we are instructed to do so by our customers, deliveries to sites and stores across Greater Sydney will occur. These deliveries will be conducted in a COVID-safe manner and in-line with any specific protocols in place at individual sites and stores.
  • For any order scheduled for delivery within the next fortnight, please advise us if this order needs to be rescheduled.
  • There will be no order pick-ups at our Emu Plains or Smithfield sites.
  • Our public trade/retail sales counters at Minchinbury will be closed.
  • Freight services from our Sydney manufacturing sites to regional NSW and interstate will continue as usual.
